Asian American Community Fund
The Asian American Community Fund, created and managed by the Federation, allows donors to invest in programs that improve the well-being of Asian Americans. Any contribution, including those for a specific field of interest, is welcome.
Since 1993, the Federation has raised and awarded over $2 million dollars to over 100 worthy, community programs through the Community Fund. Financial support from the Community Fund has also been a source of start-up funding for new organizations meeting a special need. Two such examples are FAHSI (Filipino American Human Services, Inc.) and SAYA! (South Asian Youth Action), which both reflect our long-standing commitment to help establish programs and services for underserved Asian communities.
The Asian American Community Fund provides grants annually pursuant to requests for proprosals and according to member agency needs. A professional allocations committee comprised of grant-making professionals is responsible for funding recommendations.
