The Federation is pleased to welcome The Sikh Coalition as a new member organization. The Sikh Coalition is a community based organization that works towards a world where Sikhs may freely practice and enjoy their faith while fostering strong relations with their local community. The mission is fulfilled through three core methods:  Litigation, Advocacy and Education. The organization was founded in 2001 in response to prejudice against Sikhs in the aftermath of September 11. The Sikh Coalition is the most-staffed Sikh organization in the history of the United States with a full time staff of eight, and offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.
