Services Provided:
The United Hindu Cultural Council Senior Center provides programs and services for men and women of all backgrounds 60 years of age and older. The Senior Center offers:
• Recreational activities (Yoga, meditation, music, and dance classes, arts and crafts activities and, games);
• Nutrition programs (daily vegetarian lunch, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and F.A.N.-Food and Nutrition Program);
• Health workshops (health fairs and education, blood pressure checks, and cancer prevention education); and
• Other programs such as Hindi classes, citizenship classes, voter registration, crime prevention and safety education workshops, information on entitlement benefits and victim services, transportation services, walking club, falls prevention programs, and exercise and diet classes.
